Here's a shocker. Bush's approval rating for "handling" our economy has fallen to the lowest levels since his re-election according to a USA Today/CNN/Gallop Poll taken last Friday through Sunday.
Bush's overall approval rating was 46%, down 4 percentage points since early May but higher than the 45% low in March. On specific issues, 40% approved of his handling of Iraq and the economy, 33% of his handling of Social Security.
But don't fret. This will not stop Bush from forging ahead with his personal agenda. Those who got him into office because he "he shares my values," (actual soundbite I heard from a Bush supporter), get to handle to the shit he continues to pile up on our backyards and face the reality of who George W. Bush really looks out for--himself!
Those of you who voted for this goof from behind rose-colored glasses, take 'em off and smell the shit that the rest of us are smelling.

You people on the Left don't have a strong grasp on reality. You just don't.
Bush didn't want to institute the draft; the only ones to propose it as a bill were democrats, led by Charlie Rangel. You wouldn't know that listening to you guys on the Left.
The unemployment rate during the race for Bush's second term was 6.7 percent. You guys on the Left called that high -- but it isn't -- you all had tauted Clinton's 6.9 percent during HIS race for a second term as "low." It was, and the Republicans didn't challenge it. So how then was Bush's 6.7 percent high? Now it's 4.7 percent. Yet you all keep screaming about how high it is.
Bush asked the governor of Louisiana to allow him to get the military into New Orleans - but she didn't approve it until it was too late to pre-empt difficulties. It might be a surprise to you -- but no president is allowed to send troops in without a state's approval. Meanwhile, she kept FEMA from getting needed water, food, supplies, etc., into the convention center and dome. This is a fact. Look it up. Meanwhile, the governor didn't bring in the national guard. That's in a GOVERNOR'S control, not a president's. Look it up. When she finally sent them in, it was late and in low numbers.
Still, Bush is blamed for the lack of evacuation, lack of having a military presence in there, in a "late" response to the disaster (which historically was incredibly fast).
You on the Left hate him, and that state of mind governs your reaction to him -- fact and truth be damned.
Oh, and the lies you claim he said to get us into Iraq. Does it matter that the previous administration had the very same intelligence? Does it matter that the democrats saw the same information that Bush did -- and that the information didn't come FROM Bush, but from the CIA and intelligence communities of the world, including individual nations AND the United Nations.
Yet Bush lied? There was intelligence for over 20 years that showed that Saddam had weapons. In fact, let's be honest... It's possible to hide biotoxins, etc. Do you actually believe it can't be hidden in the desert? Do you actually believe it couldn't be exported? You know it's possible, but you conveniently pretend it isn't.
Bottom line is -- if Bush knew Saddam had no weapons, why then did his administration frame the war as being a response to Saddam's weapons? Don't you think that he would have framed it entirely as a humanitarian war, instead of partially as a humanitarian war? Furthermore, if Bush lied -- don't you think that he could have easily "planted" supplies of weapons, toxins, illegal technology?
But be driven by your hate. You think it gives you clairvoyance.
The reason Bush's ratings are so low is simple: 1) people are ignorant as demonstrated by you guys; 2) The media is biased -- yes it is, let's admit it. They show what they want to show and shield from view that which offers an alternative sentiment and body of knowledge. 3) Most polls sample in an unbalanced manner. The sampling of a recent AP poll included only 25 percent republicans. Don't you think that the remaining 75 percent are already predisposed against Bush?
Finally, there are some polls where I want to respond negatively against Bush. They usually ask, "Do you approve of the job he's doing?" But the reason for my descent is because he doesn't fight back enough, proclaim his agenda and behave enough like a republican.
Yes, you read correctly. Bush behaves like a democrat. Clinton raised entitlements to $114 Billion from whatever it was before. What did Bush do? Most democrats assume that he cut entitlements (he should -- entitlements create dependency) -- but he increased entitlements to $360 Billion.
Did you know that?
Funding in the food stamp program was reduced for a simple reason: there was more money being thrown at that program than there were applicants FOR the money. Yet Bush is being painted as starving children and the old. What a joke. No one is being impacted. The money being pulled back simply wasn't being used!
You jackasses on the Left don't even realize how you are being manipulated. Bush was accused of not giving income tax refunds to the lowest income earners. Of course not. Why should he? Those lowest income earners don't PAY income tax. By law, they are exempt. But he caved in, and gave a $300 check to every person who paid ZERO income tax dollars.
Lies. You're all being told lies by the media. Lies, distortions and half truths. Then, of course, there is the percentage of you who KNOW the facts, and advance the lies yourselves.
Look at a republican such as myself, and you will see a measured discussion with facts and logic. Look at a democrat's claims -- and you'll only see unsubstantiated and undocumented charges, revisionist history, emotionalism, rumor, gossip, paranoia, hysteria, hyperbole, hatred, fear, anger, indignation, hostility and illogic.
Evidence? You advance none.
Facts? Why would you bother -- they inconveniently disprove your charges.
Isn't there a piece of you guys that knows this to be true and are embarrassed.
Here's a hint: in your reaction to my post, you will not actually regard the information I provided. You will not pay attention to or challenge my analysis. You will merely move on to new charges, new claims, new discussion. You will say again and again "Bush lied," but won't provide anything to advance that charge.
For you on the Left, making the charge is logic and substantiation enough. The sad thing is -- you guys are like walking bumper stickers. Typically, bumper stickers distill the essence of a belief, whatever it might be. Be it political, religious, philosophical, whatever. However, your analysis goes no deeper than do your bumper sticker mantras.
How about you answer my questions and address my analysis and body of evidence? Don't bring in new topics. Just respond to my claims with facts.

Granted, I didn't document the source of my facts. I don't have them at my fingertips -- but I challenge every fair-minded person to check into them. Verify them for yourselves. Do some research. Do less blogging and more research. Do it when you hear claims from BOTH sides.
Do it even with MY claims.
Note: I will not be returning to this post. I know it looks bad, as I won't be responding to you... But I simply have to move on. I have creative projects that only get tainted by this political angst.

For someone with such allegations for me being full of venom and oppressing the social freedoms of others, you are most certainly fired up over me excercising MY rights to speak freely--and yes, I still think George Bush is a dumb ass and the those who voted for him were frightfully mis-informed.
Yes, I'm angry that Bush supporters helped put him in power, and I have every right to be.
I don't apologize for it and I don't owe the Bush regime a damn thing. None of them personally did anything to secure my future and how I make a living...ANONYMOUS. At the end of the day, I pay my rent, I aint on welfare and I pay my taxes.
Yes, I can rant and rave about the administration as often I please because ASSES like you continue to fool yourselves and others by using people's differences of opinion to measure one's sense of nationalism--how simple.
